Hello! I'm Robert Parker, and I am a Clinical Assistant Professor of Biostatistics at the University of Florida. I am originally from Ridgeland, MS where I got a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Millsaps College and a Master of Science in Mathematics from Mississippi State University. In 2012, I enrolled at the University of Florida and received my PhD in Statistics in May 2017.

My teaching career started as a graduate teaching assistant at Mississppi State University where I taught Trigonometry and continued at the University of Florida where I taught introductory statistics. During my time as a PhD student, I was also an adjunct mathematics professor at Sante Fe College during the summer terms.

Research Interests

Probability theory, large sample theory, limit theorems for Banach space valued random elements, limit theorms for multi-indexed sums and random fields, analysis of manifold valued data, Bayesian methods, semi/non-parametric Bayesian modeling of manifold valued data.
